Professional Biography

Scott moved from Louisville to Western Kentucky in 1998 after being awarded a baseball scholarship to Murray State University where he played Division I Baseball for four years. Scott graduated in 2002 from Murray State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science and emphasis in wellness.  Since college, Scott has gone on to complete multiple fitness events with a focus on triathlons.   His formal education and experience as an athlete has allowed him to confidently work with a variety of client types ranging from post-physical therapy patients to successful ultramarathoners.

Fitness & Wellness Philosophy

Scott believes in the importance of complete well being - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.  Each area is intertwined.  When a person is healthy and fit, they feel better, have more energy, and are more adept at handling life's ever-changing stresses.  It's simple - a fit person is a successful person.

Professional Biography

Mike has been training for five years, initially in Evansville, IN, and has been with goperformance since April 2008 shortly after the fitness center opened.  Mike has trained all ages from high school to individuals near his own age of 62.

Fitness & Wellness Philosophy

Mike believes fitness begins and continues outside the gym, in the lifestyle we choose and live.  In order to maintain overall health, especially for those who are no longer twenty or thirty-something, a consistent, well designed program of cardio and resistance training is not only necessary but paramount.  Many common, and unfortunately accepted, signs of aging can be not only prevented but reversed.  This is accomplished through controlled and proper use of resistance exercises in a fitness center and, additionally, stretching, most especially typical of Yoga which includes beginning and assisted forms and the more strenuous modes of burn and flow Yoga.   Mike invites you to come visit him at goperformance and let him guide you onto your path to health and vitality. Fitness is not just for the young - and to stay young, begin immediately to build and maintain a healthy body and lifestyle!

Professional Biography

Jamie has called Paducah her home since she was 14 years old.  She has been married for 15+ years and her husband owns and operates LawnMasters.  She has followed in the footsteps of her father who is a physical therapist.  She graduated from Paducah Community College in May of 1997 with a degree in applied science as a physical therapist's assistant.  During her career, she has worked in a variety of environments including clinics all over the United States. She returned to Paducah five years ago and began working for Rehab Associates.  In September 2008, Jamie became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise.  Since then, she has developed personalized fitness programs for clients and helps ease the transition from injured patient to recovered client.  She is excited to begin another phase of her professional career.

Fitness & Wellness Philosophy

Jamie believes one's outlook affects all aspects of life.  She believes if you do not feel well or feel bad about the way you look, your outlook will suffer.  She feels it is imperative to be healthy, take good care of yourself, and listen to your body.  She feels if you do these things, they will help you become more productive and energetic.

"Working out, eating right, and staying healthy will lead to increased productivity and positivity.  Besides the obvious health benefits, it will increase your energy levels, improve self-esteem, and provide a feeling of achievement.  You will be more motivational in all areas of your life!"

"Positive energy, positive outlook, positive outcome!"
